HARVEST MOON

Tonight there is a full moon. This may be what-is-called a "Harvest Moon." In the fall, the moon rises earlier, providing more light to assist the farmers with the harvest...at least this was true before tractors had lights.

This "Harvest Moon" holds more significance for our family today, because it is also Robbie's (and his twin brother, Eric's) birthday!

Happy 36th Birthday!

And beyond that, it's often said that there are more babies born when the moon is full. Vereni is scheduled for her C-section tomorrow morning. But, wouldn't it be exciting if she goes into labor today!?!?
