JUNE IS DAIRY MONTH...

Did you know that a cow has no upper teeth?
We've been dairying for over thirty-four years,
and I only learned that cows don't have upper teeth
a few months ago!

CELEBRATING EARLY

LIZZIE IS EIGHT!
Well, not exactly. Lizzie's birthday is June 21, but we celebrated early because Elly, her mom, is taking classes at the University of Idaho in Moscow, working toward her Master's Degree, and she will be gone for the next two weeks.

Lizzie received lots of presents - clothes featuring horses (because Lizzie is crazy about horses), horseshoes set, badminton set, makeup, jewelry, stuffed horses, pet shop hospital, and a scooter.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
(another early celebration)

TREASURES IN THE RUBBLE

We recently purchased a new farm in Castleford. There is a well-built older home on the place which Elly and Robbie plan to buy. The brick house is undergoing remodel work. While the carpenter was digging around in the walls, exploring how he might hook up vents, he found something very interesting....
...146 silver dollars. The oldest coin dates back to 1874.
