Julianna Roeloffs and Jordan Jarvis had their wedding in Boise this past weekend. Many of the invited guests were from the Magic Valley and headed to Boise one day early. We arrived in Boise Friday afternoon and met friends at PF Changs for dinner. Afterwards we went to a play production of "The King and I".
Saturday, after breakfast at the hotel, Harry and I walked downtown to the Farmer's Market and then headed to the Idaho Botanical Gardens near the old state penitentiary. The weather was ideal and we both enjoyed that very much.
Next we went to the Hyde Park district in Boise and had lunch outdoors at a Mexican restaurant. Then we went back to the hotel to get ready for the shuttle that took us to the wedding!

Julianna and Jordan making their vows.It was a beautiful wedding followed by a wonderful dinner reception at the Grove Hotel convention center. What a generous spread! The evening meal was followed by entertainment by Rockola, a classic-rock band from the San Diego area. Harry and I are usually quick to leave once the dancing starts, but the band was so good we stayed till midnight! And we danced!
The next morning was Sunday, Father's Day. There was a car show just steps away from our hotel, so we had to check that out!

After dinner we took Adriana's classic VW up the road to check out Twin Falls' new Walmart store.
Jake and Vereni invited friends and family over today for a "little" party for Sofia, who turned two on Friday. Here are some photos of our afternoon at Casa Azul.

Brad and Adriana got called away to Lewiston, Idaho for the funeral of his grandmother. Brad's grandmother Peggy had a stroke and died shortly after that. I stayed with the kids in Twin Falls while they were away.
