WEEKEND WEDDING IN BOISE

Julianna Roeloffs and Jordan Jarvis had their wedding in Boise this past weekend. Many of the invited guests were from the Magic Valley and headed to Boise one day early. We arrived in Boise Friday afternoon and met friends at PF Changs for dinner. Afterwards we went to a play production of "The King and I".
Saturday, after breakfast at the hotel, Harry and I walked downtown to the Farmer's Market and then headed to the Idaho Botanical Gardens near the old state penitentiary. The weather was ideal and we both enjoyed that very much.
Next we went to the Hyde Park district in Boise and had lunch outdoors at a Mexican restaurant. Then we went back to the hotel to get ready for the shuttle that took us to the wedding!

It was a beautiful wedding followed by a wonderful dinner reception at the Grove Hotel convention center. What a generous spread! The evening meal was followed by entertainment by Rockola, a classic-rock band from the San Diego area. Harry and I are usually quick to leave once the dancing starts, but the band was so good we stayed till midnight! And we danced!
The next morning was Sunday, Father's Day. There was a car show just steps away from our hotel, so we had to check that out!
