SHRINKING WITH AGE?!?

May 30, 2008 - My Birthday

To celebrate my birthday, Harry and I spent the weekend in Sun Valley. This over-sized rocking chair on one of the main streets in Ketchum makes it look like I am shrinking with age. (The bathroom-scale tells a different story!)

ANOTHER BOISE WEEKEND

May 16-17, 2008
Janie, Loriann and I traveled to Boise for Living Proof Live, featuring Beth Moore, the author of many Bible study resources. Our motivation for attending the event was the opportunity to see the worship leader that travels with Beth Moore - Travis Cottrell. Over the years, we've used a lot of his arrangements when choosing songs for the choir and congregation in our church.

"LADIES ONLY" WEEKEND

The first weekend in May, we got an early start celebrating the mothers in the family. The ladies headed to Boise for the Parade-of-Homes tour while the men stayed home with the kids. We are hoping to make our "ladies only" weekend an annual thing, laying a plan early enough so all the ladies in the family can be a part of it.

LORI DRAGT IS FIFTY!

May 2, 2008
Lori Dragt celebrated her 50th birthday at the Eighth Street Center in Buhl. We have gotten to know Lori through our Thursday night dinners at El Cazador. She has really won our respect. Despite being legally blind, Lori is well-read; she is an avid gardender; she is aggressively pursuing land development in the Magic Valley...she is an amazing woman!
Happy Birthday Lori!
