Sofia receives many many gifts. This playhouse was from her mom and dad.

This little girl is getting sleepy. Sofia can hardly hold up her head with the new helmet, which is alsos a gift from mom and dad.

After seeing Ava's two-wheeled bicycle a month ago, Sofia had her heart set on a bicycle for her birthday. She made it clear to everyone who asked her what she wanted, that Grandma was going to get her a bike. "Grandma do it!" would be her emphatic response when anyone suggested a bike for her birthday. So, grandma did it.

...it's Lizzie's tenth birthday.

As you can see, Lizzie is almost as tall as her dad already!

COEUR D'ALENE WEDDING

Harry and I drove to CDA for a wedding with Jake and Vereni and the kids. We borrowed Adriana and Brad's van to make the trip. I was a little apprehensive about making such a long road trip with kids. But the trip went great. We broke the drive up, using two days to get to our destination, and two days to return home. We stopped often to stretch our legs and to let Nicolas and Sofia enjoy being free from their restrictive carseats. We even stopped to look at hay enroute!

Our minivan entertainment?

We spent the first night in Riggins.

The hotel swimming pool offered Nicolas and Sofia their first experience in a pool!

They had a blast.

The next night we arrived in CDA. Pete and Jenn and the kids came to the hotel and swam in thehotel pool there.

"Pastor" Jon Bobango officiates the marriage of Eric Graybeal and Monica Flory.

No kidding. He got a license to perform weddings on-line from the Unitarian Church.

AN ENDING AND A BEGINNING

For about six years we have been meeting with friends at our local Mexican restaurant, El Cazador, each Thursday night for dinner. We have always been greeted with Juanita's friendly smile and wonderful service. She is a lovely person and an outstanding waitress. We were very sad to learn that she would be leaving her job at El Cazador. Juanita and her sister bought a "taco bus" and they are now in business for themselves! Juanita is excited and optimistic about this adventure. To show our support, we had Juanita drive her new red taco bus to Schilder's house, and we all had dinner from "Juanita's Tacos", the newest rolling restaurant in Buhl. The food received great reviews! I would highly recommend the "torta"...muy deliciosa. "Juanita's Tacos" is usually located next to the Field's 66 gas station in Buhl. You will have to check it out.
