SUCCESSFUL SURGERY

Vereni had surgery today to repair a hernia. When Nicolas was born, the doctor attempted to fix the hernia, but the problems that Vereni had been having soon returned. The doctor who did the operation today (a different one than she had last time) said that the hernia was worse than he had expected. But he felt that things went well. We are all hoping and praying for a better outcome this time.

FIESTA BOWL

Adriana and Brad made a great deal on a last minute trip on the "Party Bus" to go see Boise State play in the Fiesta Bowl. The discounted vacation included transportation in the "Party Bus", two-nights at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, one night in Four Points Sheraton in Arizona, and two 9th-row-tickets to the Fiesta Bowl. Throw in a babysitter who works for free (ME!), and the offer was too good for them to pass up. Seeing Boise State University (Adriana's alma mater) win the game really made their vacation a sweet get-away!
