MAKING GOOD ON A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

One of my new year's resolutions was to take two picnics this year. Today Adriana, Kaya, Ava, Elly, Liz, Grace, Vereni, Sofi, and I packed up a huge to-go order from McDonald's and headed to Centennial Park for a picnic.

Little Benji is quite good at flirting with them.

2ND ANNUAL "MILD HOGS" ROAD TRIP

After having coffee and doughnuts at our house, the"mild hogs" (Art Bergsma, Dan De Kruyf, Harry Bokma, Kim Lee, and Greg Evans) departed on their 2008 motorcycle road trip. This year they plan to head toward the Oregon coast and then north into Canada. They will be gone about one week.

Friends and family surprised Vereni with a baby shower at El Cazador.
About fifty women helped to welcome the new baby boy that is expected by showering Vereni and the baby with gifts...very generous gifts!
