March 10 - 22 we took a cruise on Oceania's Regatta with several of our friends. Sailing on a smaller cruise ship with a capacity of 684 passengers, our group of twenty-two from Idaho was a noticeable presence onboard.

After sixteen months of waiting, Vereni's VISA to enter the United States was finally approved when she completed her interview this month. Jake, Vereni, and Sofia arrived in Twin Falls on Tuesday March 18, a few days before Harry and I returned from our cruise vacation.

LESS IS MORE?

For our 38th anniversary, we bought a cute little Honda Civic. With gas prices going up and up, it seemed silly to upgrade to a fine luxury automobile, so we are going to see how we like less leg room, less power, and less gas expense.

It hasn't been that long ago that I wrote about Adriana's battle with postpartum depression. It's good to be able to report that she is making progress and beginning to show signs of improvement. We are so thankful...first of all to God for answered prayer, but also to all of you who have also been praying for her. While we've been afraid and hurting, it's been so good to feel your support and your concern through your kind words and gestures. Please continue to pray that Adriana will keep on improving day by day.
