South Hills Lights and Dinner
After a fun and delicious dinner at the Rock Creek General Store in Hansen,
we trekked to the South Hills to see the famous light display and "Bull", the amusing camel,
who likes candy canes a whole lot more than he likes carrots!

MORNINGSIDE FIRST AND THIRD GRADE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Kaya and Ava entertain us well at the Christmas program at Roper Auditorium.
Ava sang many songs with the other first graders. Her favorite was "Santa's Too Fat for the Chimney".
Kaya and the other third graders did the play "Home For The Holidays". Kaya was a stewardess for Mustang Airlines in the production. Good job kids!
SANTA IS NOT THE ONLY ONE COMING TO TOWN!
Not only is Santa coming to town...but Chobani yogurt is breaking ground on their new processing facility in Twin Falls today! The whole community is excited about these plans. With our area's economy still limping along, this new company's plans to locate here is seen as very good news!
Harry and I were not able to make it to the official ground-breaking, but at twilight, when we headed to town for some holiday shopping, we saw that the job site was still humming with activity. We both think that this side of Twin Falls will look much different in a few years.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Come, let us sing for joy
to the Lord;
Let us shout aloud
to the Rock
of our salvation.
Psalm 95:1
Robbie and Lizzie proudly bring in the smoked turkey!
Elly and Robbie hosted Thanksgiving this year. It was a small group that gathered on this gorgeous November day. Peter and the kids were not able to come down, and Adriana and Brad and their kids headed to Lewiston to celebrate with the Mohrs. Rick came to the party alone because Esther was still recovering from the surgery that determined that she has breast cancer. That was disappointing news, because doctors had earlier reported that Esther's tumor was benign. A course of action for her care is still being determined. Life is a mixed bag. In all the "ups", but also in all the "downs", we see God's hand and we thank Him for blessings galore. In joy and in sorrow, in confidence and in concern, in health and in sickness....His love endures forever!
